1. General betting conditions
M99 Casino provides wagering services only where those services are available and lawful. You are responsible for checking that online gambling is permitted in your location before opening an account or placing a bet. These rules should be read together with the general website terms, privacy policy, responsible gambling information and any specific rules shown for a particular game, market or event. If a product-specific rule conflicts with a general rule, the product-specific rule will generally apply to that product.
You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering and whenever information is requested for account, payment or verification purposes. An account must be used only by the person in whose name it is registered. You must keep your login details private and must not allow another person to place bets using your account. Bets placed after a successful login may be treated as being placed by you unless there is evidence of unauthorised access or a technical issue.
Players must meet the applicable minimum age requirement and must not use the service if they are prohibited from gambling under Australian law or any other law that applies to them. We may request evidence of age, identity, address, payment ownership or source of funds. An account, withdrawal or bet may be restricted while checks are being completed. Information supplied for verification must be genuine and must belong to the account holder.
- One person must not create or control multiple accounts unless expressly permitted in writing.
- You must not use another person's account, payment method or identity documents.
- You must not place bets on behalf of another person or allow another person to control your wagering activity.
- You must not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, money laundering or any attempt to circumvent account controls.
- You must not interfere with the website, betting software, payment process or security systems.
- You must not use automated tools, scripts, bots or other methods intended to obtain an unfair advantage.
If account information changes, you should update it promptly through the available account tools or follow the relevant support process. Where information cannot be updated directly, further verification may be required. We may suspend or limit an account when information is incomplete, inconsistent or reasonably requires investigation. Any review will be handled in accordance with the applicable terms and legal obligations.
2. Placing and accepting bets
A bet is created when you select the relevant market, enter the stake or other required details, review the information and confirm the wager through the betting interface. Before confirmation, check the selection, odds or game information, stake, potential return and any applicable terms. After confirmation, the bet may not be changed or cancelled unless the applicable rules expressly allow it.
A bet is not necessarily accepted merely because it has been submitted. Acceptance may depend on the availability of the market, account status, sufficient cleared funds, technical processing and any required checks. The bet record, receipt or account history is the primary record of the wager. You should review your account after placing a bet and raise any apparent issue as soon as reasonably possible.
Odds, prices and displayed information
Displayed odds and prices may change before a bet is confirmed. The odds or price applying to a wager will normally be the one shown in the confirmed bet record, subject to correction under these rules. Information about events, markets, participants, schedules and results may come from third-party sources and may be updated or corrected. A display, feed or technical message is not a guarantee that a market is available for betting.
We may correct an obvious error in odds, prices, selections, event information, settlement information or other betting data. An obvious error may include a clear typographical mistake, a price that is plainly inconsistent with the relevant market, a duplicated market, an incorrectly listed participant or a market offered after the relevant event has started or ended. Where an error affects a bet, the bet may be voided or settled using the correct information, subject to the applicable product rules.
Bet limits and restrictions
Minimum and maximum stakes, maximum returns, market restrictions and other limits may apply. Any applicable limit may be shown on the betting page, in the account interface or in the rules for the relevant product. Limits can differ between markets, events, games, account types and bet types. A wager that exceeds an applicable limit may be declined, reduced or accepted only up to the permitted amount.
We may refuse, restrict, suspend or cancel a bet where permitted by the applicable terms, including where there is a technical problem, suspected misuse, a market integrity concern, a duplicate wager, an account restriction or a failure to satisfy a required condition. We do not have to provide a market or continue to offer a particular bet type. A restriction on one market or product does not necessarily mean that other products are available to the account.
Multi-bets and related selections
Where combination or multi-bet options are offered, the selections must meet the conditions shown for that bet type. Some selections may be incompatible, correlated or unavailable for combination. If a selection is cancelled, voided or otherwise unable to form part of a combination, the remaining selections may be treated according to the relevant product rules. The confirmed bet record and the rules displayed at the time of placement determine how the bet is treated.
3. Event results and bet settlement
Bets are settled using the official result or outcome specified in the applicable market rules. The relevant rules may identify an official governing body, competition organiser, venue, broadcast source or other recognised source for determining the result. A result announced during an event may be provisional. Settlement can be reviewed if the official result changes, if reliable information shows that a market was incorrectly settled, or if an error affected the original outcome.
Each market can have its own settlement conditions. These conditions may cover the scheduled start time, postponement, abandonment, minimum participation, number of participants, changes to venue, changes to format, disqualifications, withdrawals, dead heats, ties, overtime, extra periods, player participation and the timing of an official result. You should read the market rules before betting, particularly for live events and markets affected by changing conditions.
Postponed, abandoned or changed events
If an event is postponed, abandoned, interrupted or materially changed, the bet may be held open, transferred to a new time or settled as void, depending on the relevant rules. Different markets on the same event may be treated differently. For example, a market that has been conclusively determined may be settled even if the wider event does not finish, while an unresolved market may be cancelled. The displayed market rules govern the outcome.
Voided bets and cancelled markets
A void bet is treated as though the wager was not valid for settlement purposes. The stake may be returned or the void selection may be removed from a combination, as stated in the applicable rules. A market may be cancelled because of an error, an invalid listing, a failure to meet the required conditions, an integrity concern or another reason permitted by the rules. Any remaining selections in a multi-bet will be treated according to the applicable combination rules.
Live betting
Live or in-play betting carries additional timing and information risks. Delays can occur between an event taking place, information being received and a market being updated. A bet may remain pending while the system processes current information. We may suspend a market while an important event is occurring or where the available information cannot be reliably confirmed. Bets accepted during a delay may be reviewed under the applicable rules if the market was not operating correctly.
The result shown in your account history should be checked after settlement. If you believe a bet has been settled incorrectly, keep the bet reference and relevant details and raise the issue through the available support channel. Reviews may require information about the market, event, time of placement, bet type and official result. A review does not guarantee that the original settlement will be changed.
4. Funds, integrity and responsible wagering
You must have enough cleared balance for the stake before a bet can be accepted. A pending transaction, reversed payment, chargeback or other payment issue may affect the availability of funds and the status of a bet. Deposits and withdrawals are subject to the payment method, account checks, applicable terms and any restrictions that apply to the service. You should use only payment methods held in your own name and must not attempt to disguise the source or ownership of funds.
A positive balance, displayed return or account adjustment may be corrected where it resulted from a technical fault, processing error, incorrect settlement or other obvious mistake. If you receive funds or credits in error, you must not withdraw, spend or transfer them. We may reverse the relevant transaction or recover the amount in accordance with the applicable terms. Where a payment or settlement is disputed, the account may be reviewed before further activity is permitted.
Integrity and prohibited conduct
Betting markets must be used fairly. You must not place or attempt to place a wager using confidential event information, participate in manipulation, influence an event or outcome, or take part in conduct that could undermine the integrity of a market. Where there is a reasonable concern about suspicious activity, we may restrict betting, withhold an affected settlement while reviewing the matter, cancel bets where permitted, and share information with relevant parties as required by law.
We may also investigate activity that appears coordinated, deceptive or designed to exploit a vulnerability in the website or betting service. This can include unusual account behaviour, repeated attempts to bypass limits, misuse of promotions, identity inconsistencies, payment irregularities or activity linked to another restricted account. Any action taken will depend on the circumstances, the applicable terms and legal requirements.
Responsible gambling
Gambling should be treated as entertainment, not as a way to make money or recover losses. Set a budget before you play and never wager more than you can afford to lose. Take regular breaks, avoid gambling when upset or under the influence of alcohol or other substances, and do not borrow money to bet. Chasing losses can increase harm and is a reason to stop and seek support.
- Set personal deposit, wagering or session limits where those tools are available.
- Use a time reminder and take breaks from the service.
- Consider a temporary break or account exclusion if gambling is becoming difficult to control.
- Do not ask another person to place bets for you or use another person's account.
- Talk to a qualified support service, health professional or trusted person if gambling is causing stress, financial difficulty or conflict.
If you have questions about a bet, these rules or the responsible gambling tools available on the website, review the relevant information before continuing to wager. Rules may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to products, technology, legal requirements or operating practices. The version available when a bet is placed will generally apply, unless a later change is required by law or is clearly stated to apply to an existing matter.
